Steamboat & BBQ Buffets at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur for just under RM60!

The two buffets that I had tried at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur are Suki-Ya and ROCKU Yakiniku.

So let’s just get right into it shall we? For my personal preference I prefer ROCKU Yakiniku (I’ll explain further below). However, Suki-Ya is good too tho. But depends on what type of buffet you prefer. I was luckily enough to try both in this trip. Shoooo ‘Tamjiak’ rite? I know I know.

First I will start with Suki-Ya. It’s a shabu-shabu Japanese hotpot. It’s more to the healthier side. You can choose 2 out of 4 soup bases which are shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, miso and kimuchi. I highly recommend the miso and kimuchi soup. FREE FLOW of freshly thin sliced meat from choices of chicken, beef and lamb (Pork free). There is also a healthy bar with decent selections of fresh Veges, mushrooms and frozen food (scallops recommended). They also have an a-la carte menu choices ranging from tofu to salmon sashimi.

But but but the star of this buffet is their signature specially made dipping sauce! It is the UMAMI of this buffet that makes everything taste extra yummier! So with further ado food pics to please your eyes. Owh nearly forgot to add in the bonus for dessert, UNLIMITED matcha icecream! Yasss!

Lunch : 11.30am -5pm RM32.80++

Next buffet is at ROCKU Yakiniku. It’s a casual, upbeat and edgy restaurant. Melding traditional style of Japanese dining with modern entertainment. BBQ Japanese with cuts of meat raging from beef, lamb, pork and chicken. Live band performances (my favorite part of the buffet besides the bbq meats). Why I prefer Rocku than Suki-ya is cause just the ambiance the live band makes the meal just more enjoyable. I think I do not have to explain more and let pictures speak for itself aye.

Soon after the glorious 4 types bbq meat came.

  • Meats (Beef, chicken, lamb & pork)
